Live, create,

IN STYLE!

Located high above Tbilisi, Ikalto Micro Art Residence is a private apartment turned into a living artistic space. Guests come for the views, the interiors, the quiet corners, and the feeling of entering a place shaped by creativity rather than tourism.
The House

Stay among books, instruments, plants, records, and traces of everyday creative life

Rather than offering a polished hotel experience, we offer something quieter and more personal: a home where creative work, conversation, and everyday rituals naturally come together.

Some guests arrive to compose, write, or paint.
Others simply come looking for a place with character, where they can slow down, enjoy the mountain views, and experience a different side of Tbilisi.

Every guest gets a private room with a desk, an orthopedic bed, and a green balcony. Shared spaces invite cooking together, reading, long conversations, film screenings, hi-end listening experience or simply spending an evening in good company while still leaving plenty of room for solitude.

Since 2018, it has been an independent venue for unconventional music, film screenings, and cultural gatherings. Our programme includes intimate house concerts, Monday wine evenings, Thursday screenings, and special events ranging from video art to live scores for silent films. Every event is shaped by the same idea: exceptional sound, close interaction, and a small audience where artists and guests genuinely meet.
Ikalto is more than a place to stay
Ikalto was founded as an independent artist residency supporting musicians, sound artists, and creators working across disciplines. Residents can use the house as a place for focused work, experimentation, rehearsal, reflection, and collaboration, with access to dedicated creative spaces including a grand piano, drum kits, and recording facilities.
While the house remains open to travellers and curious guests, its identity is shaped by the artists who work here and the creative exchange that happens around them.
An Artist Residency
The Ikalto experience extends beyond the residence itself!
In September 2025 we opened Tschüssikowski, our social club near the legendary Dry Bridge. Here, guests can explore carefully selected Georgian wines, enjoy regular music events, and connect with the local creative community.
Together, Ikalto Micro Art Residence & Tschüssikowski form a small cultural ecosystem built around music, art, hospitality, and everyday encounters in a safe space.
